Policies
My commitment is to support you through stress relief and pain management, your comfort and satisfaction is my TOP priority.
In order to have a great experience, please read over my policies and make sure that you understand them before booking. By scheduling an appointment with me, you are agreeing to these policies.
Credit Card on File:
A valid credit card is required to be placed on file in order to book an appointment with Holly Henderson, RMT. Your card will not be charged unless you do not adhere to the Cancellation/No-Show policy.
Once you've received your massage, let me know if you'd like me to charge your card on file, or you are welcome to pay with a different card, e-transfer or cash.
Cancellation/No-Show Policy:
Sometimes things happen and you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment and that's OK. There is no fee if notification is given at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% the cost of their scheduled session. Clients who cancel less than 12 hours or no-show for their appointment will be charged the full session rate to the card on file. However, I’m happy to waive the cancellation fee if you can arrange for someone else to take your place.
I also require 24 hours notice to any changes to the length of your existing appointment. I can certainly shorten your treatment if you’re late or you need to leave early, but I will charge you for the length of treatment you booked.
Clients booking using a discount certificate who no-show will be charged the full value of the session. Please see Services and Rates for prices.
Clients booking using a gift certificate will forfeit the value of their session if they no-show or give less than 24 hours notice.
If for any reason I cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice due to an emergency on my end, your rescheduled massage session will charged at the 50% reduced rate.
Arriving Late:
Your scheduled time includes your entire appointment, from start to finish.
Out of respect and consideration of my time and other clients, please plan to arrive 10 minutes early for any appointment in order to get the most of your time with me. This gives you an opportunity to use the restroom, speak with me to discuss your goals for the session, and to get you on the table so we can begin right at your treatment time!
If you arrive later than this, I can only give you whatever time remains of your appointment and you will be responsible to pay the full length of the session you requested, even if the hands-on time does not equal your session length.
Intake Forms/Agreements:
Please fill out your Client Intake Form and agreements that will be emailed to you upon booking at least 24hrs before your scheduled appointment. It will be completed digitally and all privacy policies will apply to information obtained on the form.
Once a year, or any time you have any changes to your health history, home address, medical doctor, medication or injuries an update will need to be added to your file to ensure your paperwork is up to date.
Refusal of Service:
For safety purposes, I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time.
Reasons may include, but are not limited to, the following:
-intoxication
-derogatory or bigoted comments
-sexual or romantic advances (including removing legally required draping)
-illness or infectious conditions (if you have a fever, please do not come in)
-contagious or unidentified skin conditions (ex. rashes, warts, mysterious bug bites)
If you develop a skin condition, please clear it with your doctor before receiving a massage. If you exhibit any of the aforementioned conditions or behaviors, you'll be denied treatment and charged in full for the appointment.
Open Communication:
In order to receive the best massage therapy possible, you must communicate ANYTHING and everything, including your needs, preferences, requests, or feedback, at any time before, during, or after your massage.
Please communicate right away if there is anything distracting you or if you feel unwell or uncomfortable at any time during the session so that the adjustments can be made. As your massage therapist, I truly want your HONEST feedback (positive or negative) and will not take offense to it. This is your self-care journey and I am here to support you along the way.
Thank you for taking the time to read these policies, if you have any questions please let me know so we can discuss.
